Patrick T Walker is a self taught disabled artist who creates using a varitey fo media but specializes in intarsia the making of pictorial and decorative mosaics by laying precious and exotic wood into or onto a groundwork of solid wood.

For the uninitiated, intarsia is an ancient form that unites spirituality and art that has not been shown previously. For the many people that have felt a kinship with animals, this was a way to feel they were being watched over, while not risk offending the sensibilites of those with differing beliefs. Soon intarisa became a widely practiced art form, with many artisians taking credit, for having created the manner in which different intricately carved woodw were placed together on a solid wooden base.
